 Welcome back to my blog. In this blog we will talk about editing portion of our commercial. After filming Luc had to leave for some event. So me and Rhys went to his house to edit. We walked along a path where his mom picked us up and drove us to his house. After getting some water we went straight to work in his room. Rhys already had a editing software downloaded that we could use to quickly drop our videos into the software. There was a problem because all of our videos from the park were together with random videos that he made on his own. After sorting them out we drop them in and realized all of them combined were over 45 second long. After cutting it down a lot we still had about 33 seconds left. So we decided we would cut a whole scene to make a room. we added music in the background that we had picked out. We also included a voice over of me saying prime hydration at the end. The reason we did this was because we felt they needed to be more talking in the video. We messed around with the sound so you could hear us talking better in the video without the music distracting it. After that we added more color and brightness to our video by adding highlights. After that we were all finished we sent it to Luc to look over. So he said it was great I decided to go home. Rhys added some more lighting to the commercial and then sent it to us. As you can see it all worked out in the end.

Editing for My Final Task

  Welcome back to my blog! Today, I'm excited to talk about the editing process for my final task. Unlike last year, where I had a lot of help from my group, this year I'm alone. Last year, Rhys from my group took charge of most of the editing, and the video turned out great. However, this time around, I don't have that luxury. So, I had to figure it out on my own and I learned some new skills in the process. First things first, I scouted out different software options for editing. Many required payment or personal information. I then stumbled upon CapCut, which turned out to be a great choice. Once I imported my clips and added them to the software, along with the opening credits I'd already prepared, I was surprised to find that my footage exceeded five minutes. Production Blog: Planning

  Welcome back to my blog. In this blog I will talk about the planning process that took place. My group mates and I worked very hard to plan out our final project. There were many steps that were involved in making our final project. One of the major things that we had to do was our storyboard. The storyboard is a scene-by-scene depiction of what we are going to film. This is very helpful when filming because we have something to go off of rather than just trying to throw it all together last minute. Another thing that was really helpful when planning was our title research because we were able to find similar movies and look at their opening scenes in order to get ideas of what we would like to do. This also helped with the storyboard because we were able to decide where to embed titles. It is very important to consider placement of where these titles should go.
