  Welcome back to my blog. I am Daniel Brinkworth and I go to Fort Lauderdale high school. In this blog I will talk about what genre I chose and why. For my final task I chose the action genre. One   reason for this is because I love the idea of making a chase scene on a mountain with lots of fun new camera shots I would not normally get. Another reason that chose action editing. Editing is something I did not get to do in my final project last year. So for this year I am hoping I can edit and use software to improve my video. The reason I need action is because there is a lot more effects I need to use in this final task. There where many other options for genre but the two that stuck out to me was mystery and action. The reason I was thinking mystery was because I did it last year. I did it last year so it would be easier for me to think of a plan. Also I know a lot of conventions from mystery and a lot more information. For the action genre I don’t know as much about conventions. An

   Welcome back to my blog. I am Daniel Brinkworth and I attend Fort Lauderdale high. In this blog I will discuss my pitches for my final task. Pitch 1- A 12-year-old must save his Christmas by getting on Santa nice list with the help of friends in the operation called Naughty to Nice. Pitch 2- A series of thefts at a high-end ski resort results in one skier going on a wild goose chase to find the mystery man.   Pitch 1- When I first thought of this idea, I was in the Christmas spirit and really excited to incorporate many Christmas lights and the use of Colorado’s beautiful winter scenery. I realize now that finding Christmas decorations at the time that I would be filming would be difficult for me. I also had the realization that I may not be able to find someone young to play the part. I couldn’t use an older actor because it really wouldn’t fit the plot. For this project I chose to work individually. There are many reasons that I chose to do this project individually. The first reason is because I want to control the film. I realize that I sound like a control freak but let me explain. Last year for my final task we had to make an opening scene for a movie. My groupmates wanted to do something simple which I would have rather done something more fun and more mechanically difficult. Now that is in the past so this year, I chose a different route. By working individually, I can do more creatively with my final task.   Another reason why I chose to work alone is because my partners were not always dependable.   Welcome back everybody to my last intro blog ever. I am Daniel Brinkworth and I go to Fort Lauderdale High School. I am so excited that I am finally in A level media studies. I can’t wait to start my final task for a level. Last year for my final task we made an opening for a movie. Now that I moved up to A level i am tasked with making a five-minute movie. I have been so excited for this project since I first heard about it in the beginning of the year. My final task in AS level really helped me to understand what I need to do for my blogs, what I need to do for my editing, and what I needed to do when it came filming. The AS level final task gave me a good idea of what was going to be asked of me for my A level final task with some new elements I will need to include. Another thing the AS level final task really helped me do was figure out time management. I know that will be really important when it comes to this final project. Although the AS level final task required just the op
