Planning for my music video

  

Hey everyone! I’m Daniel brinkworth, and welcome back to my blog. This is the planning and preparation for my music video. The song my group chose was, "Don't Stop Ne Now," by Queen. We chose this song because it is a classic song that we were all familiar with. On top of this, it fit well with some ideas we had for the video. For props we will need a record player and a record of the song we are using. Rhys will be able to provide this. We will also use a piano in the video. Daniel has the piano we'll be using. 

Below are the dates we plan on completing our project on. 

11/9/22 - My group mates and I establish ourselves, our group, and the project.

11/14/22 - My group mates and I plan for our project and determine props, costume, location, etc.

11/15/22 - My group mates and I draw up a storyboard we can use for our music video.

11/28-12/16/22 - My group mates and I film and edit our music video and create production blogs. 


We are still figuring out everyone's schedule so we don't know exactly when we will film and edit. We do know that we will be filming at Daniels house. This location was chosen because it has the piano, the most difficult prop to transport. This is also low risk, as none of us were able to think of much that could prevent us from filming at Daniels house. Despite this, we still came up with a backup plan to film at Rhys's house. Finally, there aren't many considerations for health and safety. We won't be using any dangerous equipment, so all we have to do is remember to stay safe.

Editing for My Final Task

  Welcome back to my blog! Today, I'm excited to talk about the editing process for my final task. Unlike last year, where I had a lot of help from my group, this year I'm alone. Last year, Rhys from my group took charge of most of the editing, and the video turned out great. However, this time around, I don't have that luxury. So, I had to figure it out on my own and I learned some new skills in the process. First things first, I scouted out different software options for editing. Many required payment or personal information. I then stumbled upon CapCut, which turned out to be a great choice. Once I imported my clips and added them to the software, along with the opening credits I'd already prepared, I was surprised to find that my footage exceeded five minutes. Production Blog: Planning

  Welcome back to my blog. In this blog I will talk about the planning process that took place. My group mates and I worked very hard to plan out our final project. There were many steps that were involved in making our final project. One of the major things that we had to do was our storyboard. The storyboard is a scene-by-scene depiction of what we are going to film. This is very helpful when filming because we have something to go off of rather than just trying to throw it all together last minute. Another thing that was really helpful when planning was our title research because we were able to find similar movies and look at their opening scenes in order to get ideas of what we would like to do. This also helped with the storyboard because we were able to decide where to embed titles. It is very important to consider placement of where these titles should go.
