Production Blog Part 2

Welcome back to my blog. In this blog, we will talk about day 2 of production. After our joyride on the electric bike, we started to film the rest of the outside scenes. The next outside scene that we shot was with the Spikeball game. In this scene, me and Rhys were hitting the Spikeball around amongst each other and finished with me spiking the ball really hard into the net. After the Spikeball scene, we continued and shot outside at the basketball hoop in my front yard. Rhys filmed me while I dunked on the basketball hoop. We did multiple takes, and we switched the style of dunk many times. We did this to ensure that we had good clips and good angles. When we finished the dunking shot on the big basketball hoop, we shot another basketball shot but this time on the arcade basketball game on the side of my house. Luc filmed me and Rhys while we competed to see who could get the most baskets in the quickest amount of time. Although we won't be using the whole game competition, only a clip will be used in our final film. Me and Rhys going full out in the game allowed us to get shot clips where we had lots of energy and were highly competitive. After this scene, we discussed as a group and though it would be best to continue filming on another day. We had been filming for a long time and we felt that if we continued, the acting would not be as good. After we decided to continue filming on another day, we played video games while waiting for my groups parents to come pick them up. We decided that it would be best to have another scene just in case. We shot a video game scene that we would have in our back pocket incase other footage wasn't good. This was my production blog part 2. In the next blog, we will discuss day 2 of filming.
