Production blog: Last Minute Changes

 

Hello and welcome back to my blog. In this blog I will talk about last minute changes that need to be made. Although in my last production blog I said that we would have to use our backup location we have decided to stay with our original plan of my house. The reason for this is because we do not need to film at night anymore because we are challenging conventions. As a group we all decided that it would be wise for us too film in the daytime rather than at night. The reason for this is because we thought we would challenge conventions. Normally in mystery movies we can see are subject being grabbed or killed during the night where it is dark and scary rather than in the day where it is light and fun. Another last-minute change that we had was the editing software that was going to be used. Previously in my projects we have used DaVinci which I stated in my last production blog. For this project we still do not have an editing software so we may need to go back to the da Vinci software. One reason for this is because we know the software well because we used it in the passed. Another reason is because there are not many good editing software out there for free that we are able to use like DaVinci. The last thing that needed a last minute change was our timing. In my previous blog I stated that the storyboard we use two have an idea of what we're doing would fit perfectly in our two-minute limit. Now thinking it over we believe we will need more time because we need to fit the words on screen. We also need to be able to read all of the words. We may need to reorganize our storyboard so we are able to read all of the words on screen. In my next production blog I will talk about the setup involved in making are film. Also what needs to be done before we can start filming. Thank you for reading my blog.
