I Made a Huge Mistake!

Welcome back to my blog. The title should tell you every thing. I'm feeling a bit stupid because I've made a huge mistake. Let me give you some context. Last year, for our final project, my group and I split filming between spring break and afterward. This year I assumed the same schedule and deadlines would apply. I was so wrong! My entire project hinged on my spring break plans. I didn't even bother to check the due date. I know what you are going to say "What were you thinking?" Trust me, I've been asking myself the same question. Now, I'm forced to fall back on my backup plan, which isn't exactly what I had in mind, but I will make it work. It's back to the planning and storyboard for me. On the bright side, I did manage to start filming my opening scene, so it's not a complete disaster. I can't help but feel frustrated with myself for this oversight. It's a lesson learned the hard way. I'll definitely be more observant in checking deadlines and schedules moving forward. Despite this setback, I'm determined to make the most of the situation and deliver a project I can be proud of. Cant wait to see how my final task will come out after this. Editing for My Final Task

  Welcome back to my blog! Today, I'm excited to talk about the editing process for my final task. Unlike last year, where I had a lot of help from my group, this year I'm alone. Last year, Rhys from my group took charge of most of the editing, and the video turned out great. However, this time around, I don't have that luxury. So, I had to figure it out on my own and I learned some new skills in the process. First things first, I scouted out different software options for editing. Many required payment or personal information. I then stumbled upon CapCut, which turned out to be a great choice. Once I imported my clips and added them to the software, along with the opening credits I'd already prepared, I was surprised to find that my footage exceeded five minutes. Production Blog: Planning

  Welcome back to my blog. In this blog I will talk about the planning process that took place. My group mates and I worked very hard to plan out our final project. There were many steps that were involved in making our final project. One of the major things that we had to do was our storyboard. The storyboard is a scene-by-scene depiction of what we are going to film. This is very helpful when filming because we have something to go off of rather than just trying to throw it all together last minute. Another thing that was really helpful when planning was our title research because we were able to find similar movies and look at their opening scenes in order to get ideas of what we would like to do. This also helped with the storyboard because we were able to decide where to embed titles. It is very important to consider placement of where these titles should go.
