My Pitch

Welcome back to my blog. I am Daniel Brinkworth and I attend Fort Lauderdale high. In this blog I will discuss my pitches for my final task.

Pitch 1- A 12-year-old must save his Christmas by getting on Santa nice list with the help of friends in the operation called Naughty to Nice.

Pitch 2- A series of thefts at a high-end ski resort results in one skier going on a wild goose chase to find the mystery man.

Pitch 1- When I first thought of this idea, I was in the Christmas spirit and really excited to incorporate many Christmas lights and the use of Colorado’s beautiful winter scenery. I realize now that finding Christmas decorations at the time that I would be filming would be difficult for me. I also had the realization that I may not be able to find someone young to play the part. I couldn’t use an older actor because it really wouldn’t fit the plot. The props and costumes I would need for this project are very much available to me. The issue is that the Christmas décor would not be readily available during the time period I would be filming my final task. Overall, I feel like this is a good option for me.

Pitch 2- This idea is one I am more passionate about than pitch 1. One reason is because incorporating a chase scene would be a really cool element. I also have all the props and costumes I would need for this film. Because I have been going to Colorado for years and know the place very well, I feel like I will be able to find many places to film. Overall, I feel like this may be a better option for me than pitch 1.

My final decision is to produce a film about Pitch 2. I feel this is more plausible than Pitch 1 and interests me much more. Thank you for reading my blog.
