1. What titles are displayed during the opening sequences?   The sequence begins with the studio and production companies. F o llowing this, it lists the main cast of the movie. Strangely , the sequence did not include major roles like director or producer.     2. What images are prioritized in the opening sequence?   Images of action and violence are prioritized . Flames also carry on throughout the entire scene, which is something specific to this movie series .     3. What connotations do these images carry?   The images carry several different connotations. Seeing scenes like a bomb’s timer approaching zero gives a negative connotation of hopelessness.   Example film of your genre- Chuck Steel: Raging Balls of Steel Justice   Common Sound in your genre- In many action films there is a common sound of gun shots and police sirens. In this short film there is also non-diegetic sound where music is play to show tension. Also lots of dialogue between the good guys and the bad guys. This dialogue is very different from the dialogue between the good guys and other characters because when talking to the bad guys there more aggressive.   Common Mis-En-Scene (CLAMPS) in your genre- In short films there is usually a good guy and bad guys. Many action shorts have police officers with bullet proof vests and weapons. The bad guys in action shorts and have larger guns and seem to have control of something of value. Planning Blog: Title design in details

  The opening credits and title sequence of m y film will most likely be in a font called “ Symbola . ” My group decided on this fon t b ecause we think it fits the mood of the film . Symbola has an eerie feeling to it, and it fits very well compared to other options that we lo oked at . Some other fonts we looked at were “Akira ,” “ B ebas , ” “TS B OLD , ” “Bodoni XT” and “Ghastly Panic . ” Akira and TS BOLD were very similar as they were very wide and bold, and we liked them, but unfortunately, they don’t fit the mood of the film . Ghastly Panic was just too much and over the top for us . We would have used that maybe if we were making a horror film but it ’ s just too obnoxious . We are working on the title still but we have come up with “Lost in the Wind ” . That is probably the title we are going to use but we may change it in the future . The film will probably begin by showing the title and then show the names of the people who need to be credited . ...
