Day 1 Filming and Editing
Welcome back to my blog! Today, I want to tell you all about my first day of filming and a bit about editing too. But before I get into that, let me tell you what I had to do to get ready. So, before I could even start filming, I had to gather up all my stuff, props, equipment, and everything else. Once I had everything together, it was finally time to start filming! The very first thing I did was work on my opening credits. Let me tell you, those shots were tough! I had to make sure they fit perfectly into my film. That's where my storyboard came in handy. It was like a guide that helped me figure out how to shoot each scene. Since I didn't have any help at that time, I decided to start with the scenes I could do on my own. Those shots weren't as hard because they didn't have as much movement as some of the other scenes. After I knocked those shots out I finally had some help. This meant I could start doing some of the more difficult shots for my opening credits. These shots took a lot more time and lots of takes because I wanted to make sure it was perfect. I wanted to make sure when I start editing it, the credits would fit. Once I was done with filming the opening scenes, I started to edit. Usually I don’t edit till the end of the film but because it was a much longer film I wanted to see were I was. I decided not to fully edit the videos but just put them in my software to get an idea of how much time I had to fill. Thanks for reading my blog.
